3D Floral Photography

Bring your engagement snaps to life with fresh flowers

It’s the little touches that make a wedding truly memorable and unique – and when those ‘little touches’ involve fresh flowers, we just can’t resist. That’s why we love this simple but gorgeous idea from the Bespoke Bride blog, for transforming photos of you loved ones into 3D flower art and displaying them on your big day.

The idea is simple: get your favourite engagement snaps blown up (ideally on card), adorn them with your favourite blooms and display them at the reception – whether it’s by the guest book, next to the table plan or at the drinks station.

What you’ll need:

  • A large photo (printed onto card, ideally)
  • Fresh flowers
  • A glue gun

What flowers to choose

The flowers chosen for this project are a vibrant, sunny mix of gerberas, roses and chrysanthemums – but you can pick any seasonal blooms that will complement your wedding flowers. Ideally, you want flowers with broad flat bases. Peonies, ranunculus and anemones are ideal for a spring/summer wedding.
