The inspiration
Every one of the designs starts life as a pen and watercolour painting. The inspiration for these comes from the artist's everyday life, but the initial ideas came from a stay in a cottage in Wiltshire where Lawson spent a lot of time painting in the garden. Lawson says she tries to combine traditional English florals with a more relaxed, contemporary style and the modern printing techniques mean ever brush stroke is captured on the linens.
A range of florals
Lawson has created fabrics featuring a wide variety of flowers. The buttercup print creates a light, summer atmosphere whilst the pink tulip pattern is darker and warmer.
Different styles
Currently the range of designs can be bought as cushions, tea towels, fabrics and wall papers so there are lots of opportunities to add some floral fabrics to your home!
