Flowers for Halloween

Can beautiful blooms ever be scary?

Can flowers really be scary? Probably not, but what they can do is add a colourful freshness to a Halloween display in your home. Whether you fill a pumpkin with blooms or make the most of Halloween colours, there's sure to be an arrangement to capture the essence of October 31st.

Pumpkins and flowers

Instead of lighting a candle inside a pumpkin, how about filling the orange squash with your favourite seasonal blooms? The fruit can be hollowed out to make a vase so fill it with some water and arrange your flowers. Of course, if you wish to carve a face into your pumpkin, be careful to only pour water to below the holes!

Embrace Halloween colours

Orange is a popular colour at this time of year so any orange arrangements can make great Halloween displays. Consider adding brown leaves to your arrangement to create an autumnal feel or use the black Odessa calla lily for a dark twist.
