DIY: Miniature Floral Bouquets

The cutest new way to say it with flowers

The uplifting power of flowers is a universal one: who doesn’t love to receive a bouquet of flowers on their birthday, anniversary or Valentine’s Day?

But if flowers have such a knack for making us happy, it seems a shame we have to wait around for these momentous occasions to enjoy them.

We’re all for giving flowers “just because” but large bouquets can be pricey – which is why we love this mini bouquet DIY project from The Flair Exchange.

The concept is super-simple – three or four stems in a black paper cone finished with a handwritten name. Hand them out to your friends or use them as table settings at a dinner party or celebration event.

What you’ll need:

  • Flowers
  • Black card
  • Scissors
  • Washi tape
  • Hot glue
  • Gold or silver pen

Best blooms for your mini bouquet

For a clean elegant look that’s bang on-trend, neatly compact ranunculus would look stunning. For a more classic alternative, try miniature roses. Or if you prefer a more organic, natural look, swap black paper for craft paper and choose daisies, bluebells and cowslip.
