Good news for those of us who feel like we keep getting out on the wrong side of the bed in the morning — or who live with people who do the same. A Harvard University study on the benefits of flowers proved that flowers are the perfect tool to help us start our day feeling great.
The Harvard research team filled participants’ homes with beautiful bunches of flowers. Participants were then asked how they felt in the morning. They discovered that flowers created a more positive start to the day — especially when a bouquet was placed in the spaces that are used a lot in the morning, such as the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Imagine sipping your morning coffee in the company of a beautiful sunflower. The effect isn’t just limited to mornings, however: flowers give us a positive boost of energy all day long.

In addition to dissipating a grumpy morning mood, flowers appear to provide even more beauty. The research also shows that a cup of coffee in the early morning isn't the only thing that can provide you with extra energy - flowers also provide an energy boost throughout the day. So that fresh bouquet doesn't only brighten up your home, but also yourself!
Nice eh, what flowers do. Did you also know that flowers really give the elderly a boost, provide a genuine smile, and that by giving a bouquet you are also seen as more caring and successful? In short: we need more flowers and we are happy to inspire you on our Instagram and Facebook pages!
