Recipe: a floral charcuterie board

Delicious for the summer!

Do you often make a drinks board or a charcuterie board when you are expecting guests? You know, one of those delicious boards with all kinds of small bites that are easy to pop in your mouth. These boards are a classic, but sometimes you need some new inspiration. Say goodbye to scotch eggs and hummus, and hello to delicious treats that look great in the garden!

you need this

  • Various soft cheeses (such as brie and goat cheese)
  • Edible flowers*
  • Goat cheese roll with flowers*
  • Different types of crackers
  • Edamame dip
  • Assorted nuts
  • Figs, artichoke, orange, passion fruit, sweet pepper, dates

how to make it

Start with a large board from your collection. Choose a central spot and stack up the cheeses, forming a cake-like shape. Like a real pâtissier, finish the 'cheesecake' with a display of edible flowers. You can then construct the rest of the board around the cheeses. Stack the crackers and dips together, and around the edge of the board place items that are easy to grab, such as dates, oranges and peppers. More towards the middle, lay looser items such as nuts, dates and herbs. Don't forget the spoons, knives and small plates. Bon appétit!
