you will need

  • Sustainable florist's foam or Spaghnum moss in a round, heaping shape
  • Your favourite flowers - we chose orchid, chrysanthemum, flame lily and tulip, among others
  • Branches from the Christmas tree
  • Optional: beautiful candles

how to make it

Water the foam or moss and let it drain. Are you using candles? If so, place these first so you can work around them nicely. Now you can poke the stems of the flowers into your shape. Make sure you have a good distribution of colour, shape and size. Play around with this! You can opt for a wreath with one type of flower or use a colour gradient; from soft pink to deep red.

Place the wreath on the table, possibly on top of a small bowl to elevate it. Light the candles and start the countdown. Is it Christmas yet?
