You will need
- Your favourite glassware - pull out the special ones for this special occasion
- Sieve
- A small saucepan
- Edible rose petals
- 400 g sugar
- 240 ml water
- 750 ml dry white wine
- 750 ml sparkling mineral water
- A sprinkle of love
Get to work
- Combine the sugar and the water in the saucepan and heat the mixture on a medium heat. Stir regularly until the sugar has dissolved, then turn the heat down and add the edible rose petals.
- Leave to simmer on a low heat for 15 minutes, making sure the mixture it doesn’t boil. Turn off the heat after 15 minutes and leave to cool for 2-3 hours.
- Sieve the rose water mixture to ensure that there are no rose petals left behind.
- Place ice cubes in attractive glasses, add the rose water, wine and mineral water and decorate the rose punch with edible rose petals.
