You will need

  • Your favourite glassware - pull out the special ones for this special occasion
  • Sieve
  • A small saucepan
  • Edible rose petals
  • 400 g sugar
  • 240 ml water
  • 750 ml dry white wine
  • 750 ml sparkling mineral water
  • A sprinkle of love

Get to work

  1. Combine the sugar and the water in the saucepan and heat the mixture on a medium heat. Stir regularly until the sugar has dissolved, then turn the heat down and add the edible rose petals.
  2. Leave to simmer on a low heat for 15 minutes, making sure the mixture it doesn’t boil. Turn off the heat after 15 minutes and leave to cool for 2-3 hours.
  3. Sieve the rose water mixture to ensure that there are no rose petals left behind.
  4. Place ice cubes in attractive glasses, add the rose water, wine and mineral water and decorate the rose punch with edible rose petals.
  5. Serve with love!
