It was early in 2014. Mike spent a lot of time sitting behind a desk as an interior designer. Too much time, he thought. He therefore increasingly started going to the flower market at the weekend in order to ‘mess around’ at home with his new discoveries. Darroch, who was working as a photographer, saw his husband’s remarkable creations, was impressed and captured them on camera. An Instagram account followed with more and more followers and ultimately requests to decorate parties and weddings. Putnam & Putnam was born.
